WELHAM Trophy

Winner 2019:  David Greaves

Awarded for the best aggregate performance in all S.E. Events by all VCC members in a car manufactured up to and including 1904
For his incredible determination, this went to David Greaves driving his 1903 Darracq

FLORENCE WELHAM Trophy

Winner 2019: Robert Corry

Awarded for the best aggregate performance in all S.E. Events by all VCC members in a car manufactured 1905-1918 – The award went to a most deserving winner, Robert Corry driving his 1913 Panhard Levassor.

MRS S F EDGE Trophy

Awarded for the best aggregate performance in any S.E. Event by a VCC member, who has not won this award previously, in a car manufactured up to and including 1904.
In 2019 this went to Rob Pedler in his 1904 De Dion Bouton

This award went to Ian Macdonald, with his 1912 Renault AX

PERCY TULLY Trophy

Awarded for the best aggregate performance of a VCC Member in a Ford car at S.E. Section events.
This was awarded to David Wraight for driving his Ford Model T on many events throughout the year.

BILL COOK Trophy

Winner 2019:  Allan Gibbins 

This was awarded for the best performance by a VCC member with a Rolls Royce car at S.E. Section events – and this award went to Allan Gibbins who successfully got his car ready for the Main Event (with a little help from his friends, or should I say brother) after it had not been run for 25 years then used it for other events during the year.

DEREK GROSSMARK Trophy

Awarded for the best aggregate performance of a VCC Member in a Napier car in S.E. Section events. This trophy was awarded to Clive Boothman. His lovely Napier was seen on a number of occasions throughout the year, often driven by his wife

Awarded to a lady driver who has participated in at least one S.E. Section event. This went to Elinor Boothman who makes a point of driving veteran cars at every opportunity.

Awarded for the most notable car or driver on a S.E. Section Event.  This was awarded to Malcolm Barber driving his magnificent 1914 Cadillac. A truly great car that deserves this delightful trophy as a memory for participating in our Main Event last year.

THE JIMMY DOWNS Trophy

Winner 2019:  David Locket and Graham Pilmore-Bedford

For Outstanding and Meritorious Service to the South East Section. This is a well-deserved trophy to two members who used their initiative and created one of the most popular events in the country, The Best of West Kent. For many years (from the creation to the current day) it has been one of the most successful one day events in our calendar. The jimmy Downs trophy was Awarded to David Locket and Graham Pilmore-Bedford.
